Michael O’Keane - Galway

Originally from Offaly, Michael worked in Cork, Dublin and Limerick before moving to Galway in 1993 to establish a new office for ICC Bank Plc in the West of Ireland. While studying in Fordham University, New York, he established networks with an international base of tutors and fellow students which has given him an insight into international business trends.
Since retiring from banking, Michael has been using his extensive business knowledge to assist SME’s through his roles as a loan assessor for Microfinance Ireland Ltd, and as a credit reviewer for the Credit Review Office. He also provides Business Mentoring services for the Local Enterprise Offices in Galway and Mayo.
Michael is very aware of the current business dynamics, and of the intrinsic value of SME’s.
His knowledge set, allied with an extensive network of business partners in the Midlands and West of Ireland, enables Michael to add value to the Wise Owl Valuation model.
